G-Dragon Partners With Oxford To Produce Limited Edition Block Flower 818 BLOOM

G-DRAGON's signature flower will bloom anew in partnership with OXFORD, Korea's leading block manufacturer.

Oxford announced on the 9th that it will produce a limited edition block flower '818 BLOOM' in time for World Peace Day with G-Dragon's PEACEMINUSONE.

G-Dragon's '818 BLOOM', which utilizes Peace Minus One's intellectual property rights (IP), will be pre-sold through online sites in major countries on September 21, World Peace Day.

G-Dragon participated in the design development process directly to realize the true meaning of Peace Minus One, and added value by providing a special holographic genuine certificate with the artist's signature to prevent counterfeiting.

In particular, '818 BLOOM', which created the artist's persona as a DIY product for the first time in the world, is expected to be released in a special limited edition, drawing attention from fans and collection enthusiasts around the world.

Oxford, which collaborates with G-Dragon's Peace Minus One, was established in 1961 and has grown to a global scale, and boasts the world's second-largest sales volume, manufacturing more than 200 million blocks every year and selling them in more than 30 countries.

Until now, Oxford has been loved by block enthusiasts around the world for introducing a number of series of popular works. The collection competition of block enthusiasts was sparked by hits such as Sungnyemun Gate, Turtle Ship, Gyeonghoeru, Tower of Pisa, Colosseum, etc.; 'Hero Series' such as Yi Sun-shin and Gwanggaeto the Great; and 'War Series' from world history. In addition, it has continued to sell out by conducting collaboration products with leading companies and organizations such as Samsung, SK, LG, KT, CJ, Shinsegae, Kia Motors, Korean Air, MBC, the National Police Agency, the Defense Industry Agency, and the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

This collaboration with Peace Minus One also attracts domestic and international attention with an unprecedented project by global trend leader G-Dragon and global block company Oxford.

Kim Jong-yeol, CEO of MTRII & C, who organized the `818 BLOOM" project of Peace Minus One, said, `This product is a creation to experience and realize the intersection of ideals and reality connecting the peaceful utopian world and the world of deprivation' pursued by G-DRAGON.' `I hope it will serve as an opportunity for people around the world to recall the importance of peace by assembling '818 BLOOM' with G-DRAGON's message.'

Meanwhile, G-Dragon, who was officially appointed as an ambassador for Gyeongju Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), has recently been praised for showing good influence through various public interest activities.
