♥What should I do…Yang Jae-woong's petition for severe punishment of patient death 'over 10,000'

More than 10,000 people participated in the signature campaign to punish Yang Jae-woong, EXID Hani's fiancée, psychiatrist and broadcaster.

According to a Hankyoreh report on the 11th, the Korea Federation of Mental Disabilities conducted a signature campaign to demand criminal punishment for Yang Jae-woong and those involved, and a total of 10,753 people participated in the signature campaign.

The signature campaign, which began on the 14th of last month, was attended by people from all walks of life, including those with mental disabilities, related organizations, students, and non-disabled people, and the signature will continue until the 15th.

When the signature campaign is completed, the Korea Federation of Mental Disabilities plans to submit related data to the prosecution and the court along with a petition.

Earlier last month, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency said it had booked four people, including a nurse A, who worked at a Bucheon-based hospital run by Yang Jae-woong, on charges of violating the medical law.

They are accused of engaging in unlicensed medical practices, such as providing medicines to patients without a doctor's prescription.

As a result, the number of people booked in this case has increased from 7 to 11. The police plan to call Yang Jae-woong as a suspect as early as this week by charging him with violating the medical law, professional negligence, and abandonment.

The remaining suspects have already been investigated more than once.

Meanwhile, in the hospital where Yang Jae-woong is the CEO, a woman in her 30s, who was hospitalized to treat diet drug addiction, died in May last year. A's bereaved family sued Yang Jae-woong and hospital officials for unfair isolation and pressure while hospitalized, and the police have continued their investigation by confiscating and searching the hospital in April.Yang Jae-woong was scheduled to marry Hani, an actress from the girl group EXID, in September last year, but he temporarily postponed his marriage due to this incident and dropped out of all the broadcasts he was appearing on at the time.

Yang Jae-woong reportedly dropped out of all broadcasts after the incident and postponed his wedding plan to his lover, singer Hani. In July, Hani appeared on MBN 'Oh Eun-young Stay' and declared 'Courage to be hated', citing 'Witness' as a keyword to explain herself. At the time, Hani "I felt a lot that my life was not going my way as I had been through this and that recently. When I was young, I really wanted to be famous, but I don't think it's just good. I'm just taking public transportation these days, and even if I cover it up, what if they laugh at me?' He recently expressed his feelings by saying, "I can't make people's eyes."
