Trigger Kim Hye-soo's lead role, rescheduling the period of national love... Cancellation of press preview, production briefing as scheduled

The press preview of Disney+'s new original series 'Trigger' was canceled in the aftermath of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

Disney+ announced on the 3rd that it would cancel the press preview of 'Trigger', which was scheduled to be held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul at 10:30 a.m. This is a measure to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

At 9:05 a.m. on the 29th, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed into the outer wall of the runway during landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, causing a fire. The accident killed 179 of the 181 passengers, excluding two crew members, and the government designated January 4 as the national mourning period immediately after the accident.

Disney+ said, `This decision is to mourn the national tragedy,' adding, `However, the production report for 'Trigger' scheduled for the 8th of next month after the national mourning period will proceed as scheduled.'

Director Yoo Sun-dong and actors Kim Hye-soo, Jung Sung-il, and Joo Jong-hyuk will attend the production briefing session to talk about the work.

Meanwhile 'Trigger' is a 12-part series about investigative journalists who struggle with cameras as weapons to rescue evil people. 'Trigger' will be released twice a week from January 15th.
