At a certain place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 17th, Choi Woo-sik met with Sports Chosun and responded to an interview to commemorate the release of Netflix 'MeloMovie'.
"Melo Movie" is a movie-like romance in which young people who want to achieve both love and dreams grow as inspiration to each other.
In the play, Choi Woo-sik took the center stage of the play with a friendly and pleasant personality as 'Gogyeom', who became a critic with a deep affection for the movie. Choi Woo-sik perfectly brought out Go-gyeom's charm, which is somewhat realistic and somewhat ideal, with his unique detailed acting.
Choi Woo-sik also made headlines by showing his affectionate brother chemistry with actor Kim Jae-wook, who plays his own brother 'Go Jun'.
Choi Woo-sik actually has a brother who is seven years older. Choi Woo-sik said, `I'm close to my real brother, and there are many similarities in the drama.' `I've been close to actor Kim Jae-wook for a while, so I've been close to him like a close brother. As a result, I was a little nervous when I had to act in front of the camera, and I had a hard time in the emotional scene."
In the meantime, "I had a hard time because I couldn't get my emotions right when filming the emotional scene, but actor Kim Jae-wook suddenly read the letter in the play himself. Such careful consideration really helped me a lot," he said, revealing the behind-the-scenes footage of the shooting.
However, his real brother said he hadn't seen 'MeloMovie' yet, drawing laughter. Choi Woo-sik "I can't even keep in touch with my brother because I'm filming a movie recently, so I'm only going back and forth between my house and the set."
Meanwhile, 'MeloMovie', starring Choi Woo-sik and Kim Jae-wook as brothers, is streaming on Netflix.
