Shin Min-jae said at a production briefing for the Netflix film 'Gye Si-rok' held at Hotel Naru Seoul M Gallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 18th, `I was not cast because my appearance resembled the director.'

Earlier, he appeared in director's works from 'Jeongi' to 'Seonsan' and 'Parasite Water: The Gray'.
