JTBC's 'Heavenly Ever After' Reveals Character Posters for Emotional Journey

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 「Beautiful Than Heaven」 opened the opening of a warm and special emotional drama by releasing posters of heavenly characters.

「Beautiful Than Heaven」 (directed by Kim Seok-yoon, scripted by Lee Nam-gyu, and Kim Soo-jin), which will premiere on April 19, is a romance of 「Current Transcendence」 that unfolds when Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja), who arrived in heaven at the age of 80, reunites with her husband Nak-joon (Son Seok-gu), who has become younger in his 30s. In the second life, which began only after death, it depicts a moving journey that reflects on the meaning of life.

The released character poster shows those who will face in heaven, centering on Hae-sook. Kim Hye-ja expressed Hae-sook's multi-layered feelings with her unique warm eyes, and "It's my life that good relationships, bad relationships, all those relationships are accumulated…"The phrase " leaves a deep lingering impression.

Nak-jun, played by Son Seok-gu, invariably appears as 'Heavenly Lover' who loves his wife. The sentence "It's so nice to have you by my side" above his smile sparks a touching emotion.

Han Ji-min plays an unidentified woman 'Somi'. Arriving in heaven with all her memories lost, she delves into the lives of Hae-suk and Nak-jun, adding a mysterious atmosphere. "I'm scared." I don't know what's at the end of this memory...The line " raises questions about his story.

Lee Jung-eun expresses a strong bond as 'Youngae', which follows Hae-sook like her parents. Cheon Ho-jin is the leading heaven 'center director', revealing a heavy presence watching Hae-suk closely, and Ryu Deok-hwan appears as 'pastor' who encounters Hae-suk every time, heralding a bickering chemistry.

Their combination of emotions and wit makes them expect a fresh human fantasy romance set in the afterlife. 'Beautiful Than Heaven' premieres Friday, April 19 at 10:30 p.m.
