Actor Shim Eun-woo said he submitted the affidavits of his classmates and the transcript of his homeroom teacher to clear him of being a `crime perpetrator.'

Shim Eun-woo met with Sports Chosun at a certain place in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the 24th and said, `Dongchang wrote an affidavit by hand and sent it by mail, and also submitted a transcript of the homeroom teacher in the first and second grades of middle school.'

Earlier, Shim Eun-woo made his face known in the JTBC drama 'The World of the Married' in 2020, but the following year, he was embroiled in suspicions of school violence. At the time, he said, `I apologize to my friend who was hurt by his immature attitude in the past.' However, two years later, in 2023, he reversed his position of apology and filed a criminal complaint against the author A for defamation. Since then, the controversy has reignited as A also presented additional evidence regarding Shim Eun-woo's alleged school violence. However, in May last year, A was cleared of charges due to insufficient evidence, and Shim Eun-woo again denied the allegation of school violence, saying, "(The acquittal) does not mean that A's claim is true."

Initially, A only demanded an apology from Shim Eun-woo, but he demanded money along with proof that he should reverse his existing position and not complain of unfairness. Regarding his relationship with A during his school days, "I didn't even know he was in the same class at the time. Before a friend who was fighting (with A) appeared in 2023, I knew that he was never in the same class when he posted his mind. As such, there was no special memory with A, and there was no meeting. On the contrary, when a friend of the person concerned came out, he found out about Mr. A", he explained. Then "Not only me, but also my friend in charge said he didn't hear anything from A. The friend is also in a very unfair situation. He also appealed for unfairness that he has not been able to escape the suspicion of school violence for five years from 2021.
