In JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'The Art of Negotiation' (script Lee Seung-young, director Ahn Pan-seok), Lee Je-hoon decomposed into Yoon Jun-no and perfectly showed the side of a negotiator who controls psychological warfare beyond simple transactions. In the fourth inning, Yoon Jun-ho, head of the M&A team of the Kansin Group, was depicted newly setting the negotiation table with his cool judgment and persuasion despite the fierce battle over the acquisition of Games.
Earlier, Yun Juno pushed to acquire Games gradually to build Sanin Group's e-commerce platform, but faced a crisis when Games refused to negotiate after being offered a higher amount. However, Juno did not see it as a mere coincidence. Sensing that someone knew the inside information and was moving, he sought a way to turn the situation around. The M&A team visited Cha Ho-jin (Jang Jin-seop), the representative of Cha Cha Games, in person to find out the terms of the acquisition contract proposed by other places, but Cha disappeared avoiding Juno. After that, Yoon Jun-ho learned about 'Easter Eggs', which hides the traces of developers in the game 'Delivery King' through Jinsoo (Cha Kang-yoon), and he realized the cause of the conflict and lawsuit between Cha Ho-jin and Do Han-cheol (Lee Si-hoon), CEO of DC Games, while watching 'High Square' containing similar contents.
Afterwards, Juno visited Cha Ho-jin and said he sympathized with Cha's feelings while playing the game, and accurately identified his pain, and Cha could not hide his surprise. This scene was the moment when Yun Juno's strategy shone. Juno's sincere words destroyed Cha Ho-jin's vigilance and made him feel sorry, as well as made him think that he wanted to break the contract he signed with the Samoel Fund. Juno saw that it was Lim Dae-ri (Lee Kyu-sung) who stole internal information and made him shed fake information that the Sanin Group would gradually give up the acquisition of Games. Later, Juno told Cha that he would take over for 3 billion won, and that he would accept the amount of 10 billion won originally discussed from someone else. Soon-young (Kim Dae-myeong) visited CEO Do, recited his crimes, and succeeded in receiving settlement money and shares. Juno visited Chairman Song (Sung Dong-il) to receive the final confirmation on the acquisition of Games gradually, and Juno obtained permission after explaining the final contract terms. In the ending, it was interesting to see how the M&A team would overcome the crisis, with the announcement of a news report that shot the mountaineer and the stock price falling to 101,000 won.
Lee Je-hoon is firmly at the center of the play by delicately portraying a three-dimensional character that flexibly crosses coolness and warm humanity beyond just a smart negotiator. In particular, in this episode, he showed his outstanding skills as a negotiator Yoon Jun-no by playing a delicate psychological battle that moves the opponent's emotions beyond simple persuasion to Cha. In this scene, Lee Je-hoon penetrated the opponent's psychology during the negotiation process and dominated the atmosphere of the play with just one line, serious eyes, and subtle facial expressions, allowing his acting skills to shine. On the other hand, when responding to the interference of Ha Jeon-moo (Jang Hyun-sung) or when he visited Chairman Song and asked for permission, he expressed Juno's feelings transparently by showing straight acting with sharp eyes and solid tone. As such, Lee Je-hoon is showing irreplaceable acting skills with acting that utilizes the fine texture of emotions, giving off a presence that overwhelms every scene. The technique of negotiation, which features his detailed performance, continues to be more exciting each time.
