'Guigung' is a fantasy rom-co depicting the twisted and twisted love and body entanglement of Yeori, who rejected the fate of a shaman, and Kang Cheol-i, who entered the body of her first love Yun Gap. Director Yoon Sung-sik, who directed `Queen Cheolin', 'Gaksital', and writer Yoon Soo-jung, who wrote 'The King's Face' and 'Excited Go', joined forces, and Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon played the lead roles.
The released teaser depicts the story of unfortunate Lee Mugi-cheol, who has been a dragon for a thousand years, and Yeori, who has a crush on Kkotdoryeong Yoon Gap, in a comical and strangely exciting atmosphere. Kang Cheol-i, possessed by Yoon Gap's body, turns the royal family upside down with unimaginable actions, such as scooping his ears, grabbing the king by the collar, and flying around the wall of the palace.
He quietly covers his mouth, tightens his head, and tries to deal with such Kang Cheol-yi. This strange combination between the shaman and the evil god Lee Mugi evokes laughter while also inducing unexpected excitement. Yook Sung-jae shows the charm of a two-person role that goes back and forth between the heavenly and infant-only evil god and the faint first love, while Kim Ji-yeon stably digests the female character with a hard center and completes a tiki-taka with Yook Sung-jae. Kim Ji-hoon, who appeared briefly, also imprints an intense presence and raises expectations for future development.
SBS's single fantasy historical drama Rocco 'Going Palace' will premiere in April following 'Treasure Island'.
