Released on April 23, 'Opposition' is a story about a broker opposition designing a Korean drug edition, a prosecutor trying to climb higher, and a detective who puts everything in a drug crime sweep together with different purposes. Director Hwang Byung-guk of 'My Wedding Expedition' and 'Special Edition' took the megaphone.
Park Hae-joon, who played Oh Sang-jae as a detective in the drug investigation team, is a detective who follows him to the end without letting go once he bites. Slightly different from other detective roles, Oh Sang-jae is hard to tell if he is Sarim in a drug gang or just a detective. Unlike other organizations, drug gangs paid a lot of attention to their costumes because they dress splendidly. It's not my first time playing a detective role, but I wanted to look different from my previous work."
Earlier, he met director Hwang as an acting partner, not a director and an actor, in the film 『Seoul Spring』 released in 2023. In response, Park Hae-joon said, `We talked a lot about 'opposition party' at the scene of 'Seoul Spring' with the director' and 'He kept glancing at me on set. (Jung) Woo-sung interrupted me in the middle, so I couldn't talk to him, but I think he thought to himself 'Should I cast him or not?'"I shuddered.
