Director Bong Joon-ho's film 'Mickey 17' attracted 560,000 viewers on weekends alone, exceeding 2 million cumulative viewers.

According to the Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admission tickets on the 10th, 'Mickey 17' mobilized 562,221 people from the 7th to the 9th. The cumulative audience is 2,098,586, keeping the top of the overall box office.

Released on the 28th of last month, 'Mickey 17' is the return of director Bong, who won the Grand Prix of the Cannes International Film Festival and the Academy Award in the United States with 'Parasite' (2019). It is based on the American writer Edward Ashton's novel `Mickey 7' and tells the story of Mickey 18, a consumable (expendables) put into dangerous work and reprinted after death, when Mickey 18 was printed thinking he was dead during his 17th death crisis. The third place was 'Conclave', which was watched by 51,266 people over the weekend, and the cumulative audience was 75,092 people.
