IU, the desired rebel, Ae-soon itself.

IU appeared for the first time in the Netflix series 'I was completely deceived' (scripted Lim Sang-chun, director Kim Won-seok) as a Jeju girl 'Ae-soon' and selling cabbage while reading a book in the market.

From the beginning of the play, IU delicately expressed various emotions and increased the immersion of the play. When he was in school, he appeared with a pulpit and expressed his bold appearance, saying, `I will marry a Seoul man no matter what.' In the first kiss scene with Gwan-sik (Park Bo-gum), he showed excitement and tension while clenching his fist at the same time, conveying the character's emotions with delicate facial expressions and trembling voices.

From the middle part, he led viewers to immerse themselves with deeper emotional acting. In particular, in a situation where he gets married to a captain with two children contrary to his heart, "My mother must be crying. The scene where I say, "I guess I'm crying because I'm getting married like this" gives a strong resonance and raises the emotional line of the character more dramatically. In the scene where the beloved official left, he maximized his desperate feelings by running through the rain and sitting in front of the sea and sobbing. In the later reunion scene, the tears that burst out in the rain hug each other left a deep lingering impression.

In the second half of the play, he showed another emotional line as a mother and wife. In the scene where the grandmother-in-law is angry and rebellious when she sees her daughter Geum-myeong try to make a haenyeo, and in the scene where Gwan-sik runs and scolds her after seeing her being beaten by the captain, she expresses more intense emotions with strong anger acting that was not seen in the early and mid parts of the play, emphasizing the colorful aspects of the character.

The loveliness of 'Ae-soon', which only IU can portray, also shone. In particular, it was more prominent in the scene where Ae-soon and Gwan-sik fled to Busan together. Ae-soon's appearance in adult clothes with dark eye makeup and lipstick that did not suit her was the loveliness that brought out the smiles of the viewers, and IU's unique cuteness was well revealed by realistically expressing her trembling voice and delicate expression in her acting as if she were an adult.

IU's performance in the first act (Episode 1-4) released was enough to draw praise as 'IU as expected'. He perfectly digested the character 'Ae-soon' and showed acting that moved freely from bold charm to affectionate emotions. In particular, the calm narration and delicate facial expression that pressed emotions enrich the inside of the character and add depth to the play. In addition, it was revealed that IU will play the role of Ae-soon's daughter 'Geummyeong', raising expectations for future episodes.

'I've been taken in' is released every Friday at 4 p.m., over a total of four weeks.
