Disney+ will introduce a new lineup in 2025.

The original Korean content presented by Disney+ during 2024 drew a hot response from global viewers. Last year, nine of the top 15 original Disney+ non-U.S. contents were filled with Korean works. In other words, the high-quality storytelling and completeness of Korean content are recognized around the world and are proving competitiveness.

Among them, the work that received the most attention is 'Killer's Shopping Mall'. The work, which caught the attention of global viewers with its original worldview and stylish action, proved its new box office power last year by topping the title of the most viewed Disney+ Korean original content worldwide. Following the official announcement of the production of Season 2 last year 'Moving', 'Killer's Shopping Mall' has also recently been confirmed to be produced in Season 2, and expectations and interest in the original Korean series are increasing day by day.

However, the release of 'nockoff' starring Kim Soo-hyun and Jo Bo-ah, which was about to be released in April this year, is still unclear. The original Disney+ series starring Kim Soo-hyun was to be released in seasons 1 and 2 with a story of a man whose life was completely changed by the IMF from an ordinary office worker to a world-class king of the fake market. However, it was postponed indefinitely due to the revelation of privacy and legal disputes between Kim Soo-hyun, the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron, and the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, and was excluded from the lineup.




In particular, Disney+ will introduce not only the original series but also new well-made works in Korea. In addition to movie titles such as "Ordinary Family" that have drawn attention since its release last week for their splendid casts and heavy narratives such as Seol Kyung-gu, Kim Hee-ae, and Jang Dong-gun, as well as emotional fantasy "The Untold Secret" that exquisitely combines music and romance starring Do Kyung-soo, romantic comedy "Universe Merry" featuring a fresh setting of Choi Woo-sik and Jung So-min's fake spirit, a warm family story starring Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sung-kyung "Good Guy," depicting the pleasant daily life of Lee Joon-young and Jung Eun-ji at the gym '24; and Nam Goong, Stories of various genres with empathy and completeness, such as emotional melodrama 'Our Movie' with Jeon Yeo-bin, are considered as expected works and are expected by viewers.
