On the 4th, Netflix 'Bad Perfection' was released, which announced the birth of this year's hottest crime thriller. Even before its release, Shin Min-ah's first genre in three years, 'A bad performance' is a crime thriller about six people who are entangled in a bad performance that they cannot escape even if they want to.
In the play, Shin Min-ah created a new face as a surgeon living with lifelong trauma 'Juyeon'. Unlike the visuals shown in various works, Shin Min-ah accurately pointed out the character's characteristics with her lifeless face and dry-looking tone and eyes, giving off an intense presence as an axis of the play.
Shin Min-ah's lead role is an ordinary university hospital doctor who lives his own life at a lukewarm temperature rather than a hot or passionate one's life. Then one day, he faced an unidentified systemic burn patient, and when he heard the patient's name and faced the wounds caused by past events, he maximized the feelings of both families between anxiety and revenge.
Unlike those who have been hurt by other works, Shin Min-ah has made viewers feel overwhelmed by the appearance of a person facing realistic trauma. In particular, the main character, who suffers from trauma due to past events, suffered from nightmares because her wounds were too deep, and she was unable to reveal the wounds to her loved ones, causing regret.
Later in the play, the lead approached Park Jae-young with a knife to take revenge on him, who made him suffer, but he endured it even though he was able to take revenge by making the most humane choice when he saw him broken by the burns. As a result, the main character walked out of the past in a different way than the perpetrators and made viewers cheer for the main character's life in that he broke off complicated bad relationships.
In this way, Shin Min-ah delicately depicted the emotional lines of the loneliest and most painful character in 'Evil'. In order to capture slightly different emotions such as the process of being eaten up by anxiety and fear, and the scene of expressing anger, he performed enthusiastically, controlling even the fine pupil tremors and the strength of his breathing.
Meanwhile, Shin Min-ah's 'Bad Performance' is streaming ravely only on Netflix.
