On the 3rd, an SBS official said "Good Partner" Season 2 production has been confirmed, but it is still in its early stages" and "The timing of the broadcast, the filming schedule, and the cast have not been decided yet. We are discussing with various possibilities open..."
Broadcasting from July to September last year, 'Good Partner' is a legal office drama about the process of star lawyer Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Na-ra) and new lawyer Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun) bumping into each other and growing up while dealing with a divorce case. While penetrating the realistic subject of divorce sharply, it drew sympathy with the development that did not miss human emotions.
The ratings also proved to be a box office hit. Based on Nielsen Korea, it firmly ranked first in the same time period with the nation's highest viewership of 17.7%, and Jang Na-ra won the grand prize at the '2024 SBS Acting Awards', capturing both cinematic and topical qualities.
Expectations are high on what kind of story will come back in season 2 of "Good Partner" thanks to the popularity and performance of season 1 and whether Jang Na-ra and Nam Ji-hyun will regroup.
