Park Han-byul, did you erase the image of husband Burning Sun controversy? Karma's comeback for the movie after variety shows

Actor Park Han-byul is returning to the screen after six years.

Park Han-byul was cast as a producer in the film 'Karma" (directed by Han Jong-hoon, produced by DMP STUDIO). As it is a return movie after a long time, expectations are high for Park Han-byul's new acting transformation.

'Karma' is a story in which past misdeeds return to fatal karma later and collapse life. It is a work that sharply illuminates the problems of felony trials and sentences and contains heavy messages. Along with Park Han-byeol, talented actors such as Park Ho-san, Park Si-hoo, Jung In-ki and Jang Hyuk-jin will appear together to add tension and immersion to the play. Attention is focusing on how the acting ensemble will unfold only with their combination.

In the play, Park Han-byul is a documentary program producer who records the lives of crime victims and has a complex inner side that conflicts between the pursuit of truth and provocative content for viewership. Through this work, Park Han-byul will play a character who walks a tightrope at the ethical boundaries of journalism and cold ambition behind a calm and rational image.

The megaphone of 'Karma' was caught by director Han Jong-hoon, who made an unconventional debut with the 2013 film 'Jit'. It will be released in theaters in 2026, starting with the entry of domestic and foreign film festivals in the second half of the year.

The Sanskrit word 'karma' refers to the work of good and evil built by the body, mouth, and heart, which is said to cause good and evil in the future.

Park Han-byul has been active in various fields such as dramas, movies, and entertainment, and her film 'Karma' foretells another in-depth acting transformation.
