Netflix held a production presentation for the original entertainment show 'Devils Plan: Death Room' at a hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 29th. 'Devils Plan 2' is an entertainment program that depicts a brain survival game in which players from various occupations stay together for 7 days to determine the best brain. Fourteen of the best players in each field are scheduled to play, up two players from season 1. In addition, the newly established prison movement is given a class meaning against live activities, signaling a more interesting brain game. Although prison-dong players cooperate to win over live players, it is expected that a new viewing point will be to compete with each other for survival and to form a cooperative competitive relationship as if dancing on a blade.
Producer Jeong Jong-yeon, who created season 2 following season 1, said "The residential building is divided into two areas: live activities and prison buildings. Min, an actor loved by global fans for his versatile charms in various works such as Netflix 'Umbrella Academy' and 'Angry People'; Kyuhyun, a Super Junior member and active in all directions of the entertainment industry, JTBC's founding announcer and Kang Ji-young, who passed the AICPA certification exam; Yoon So-hee, a former KAIST actor who graduated from a science high school early; Choi Hyun-joon, a professional poker player and music producer Seven High; Lee Seung-hyun, a college student from Miss Korea, Jung Hyun-kyu, a influencer from Seoul National University who was recognized for MENSA Korea's IQ measurement of 156, and Chu, an eighth-year singer, were recruited. In addition, players selected through more than 1,000 competitors in the open recruitment of participants also add expectations.
