Gong Myung said at the production presentation of the original TVing series 'One Week Before I Die' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 1st, `This drama gives me a pleasant excitement.'
'A week before I die' (scripted by Song Hyun-joo, Jang In-jeong, director Kim Hye-young, Choi Ha-na) is a youth fantasy romance that takes place in front of Hee-wan, who has been passing away his youth with his back to the world, and Ram-woo, his first love, appears as the Grim Reaper. It was officially invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival 'On Screen' held last year, drawing attention even before its release.
Gong Myung played Ramu, his first love who returned as the Grim Reaper. As for how he came to join the work, he said "I've wanted to do it since I first read the script. As the director said, there was a mournful and lyrical atmosphere in the freshness. "(The script) made my heart soft."," he said.
Gong Myung, who met with viewers four years after being discharged from the military, said, `I'm so proud of this place now. As soon as I heard the number four years, I was surprised, and I said, "That's how meaningful a work is. The mere fact that I can return to drama after four years gives me a good feeling of excitement."
Meanwhile, the 1st and 2nd episodes of 'A week before I die' will be released on April 3 at Tving.
