MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Roh Moo-jin' held a production presentation ahead of its first broadcast on May 30 and lifted its veil. Director Lim Soon-rye, Jeong Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon attended the meeting to tell various stories related to the work.
'Roh Moo-jin' is a comic fantasy play in which a ghost-watching labor attorney relieves the injustice of the original souls who died due to industrial accidents. This work, which melts realistic labor problems in a pleasant setting, is also expected to be the first drama production by director Lim Soon-rye, who has captivated the audience with the films 'Best Moment of Our Life', 'Little Forest' and 'Negotiation'. Additionally, the author of the series 'D.P.' Kim Un-yong and the author of 'I Can Speak' Yoo Seung-hee contributed.
Director Lim said, "It's my first time directing a drama, but I'm determined not to miss it."It is a story about a labor attorney who sees ghosts in the drama solving the problem of original souls who suffered unfair deaths, and he wanted to melt various labor issues in our society."
Jung Kyung-ho plays the role of a livelihood labor worker, Noh Mu-jin in this work. Following detectives, doctors, and one-stroke instructors, he played a variety of professional characters, earning the nickname 'professional professional actor'. He said, `This time again, it's a job that's the opposite of me personally, but it's fun that comes from that gap"I'm grateful that I recently received a letter of appointment and commendation from the Labor Association."
Seol In-ah plays Na Hee-joo, the sister-in-law and leader of the action team of Noh Mu-jin. He explained "A fresh character who is easy-going but rolls his little hair" and "Hee-joo's charm is his lovely and bold side". Cha Hak-yeon is a YouTuber Ko Gyeon-woo, showing off her unexpected charm. He practised a lot at home because he was so embarrassed to say hello to YouTube subscribers"It was a character that I've never tried, so I was very attracted to it."
The three actors showed off their perfect chemistry by claiming to be a team called 'Mousins'. Jeong Kyung-ho said "When there are three, the balance is just right" and "Breathing is almost perfect." Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon also hit it off really well. The first 100 points of breathing that I felt..." they said in unison.
In particular, Jung Kyung-ho and Seol In-ah are in a relationship of 'brother-in-law and sister-in-law' in the play, but they have become similar like real siblings on the actual set. Seol In-ah said "There were points where we were becoming more and more like a real family," while Jeong Kyung-ho laughed "I even looked like the back of my head." Cha Hak-yeon's relationship with Seol In-ah is a spear and shield. I explained cheerfully, "Love Bomber".
Starting with the industrial accident of underage high school students, the "Labour Labor" deals with heavy social topics at each session and conveys impressions and messages at the same time. Director Lim Soon-rye stressed that `I hope it will be an opportunity to think about safety insensitivity and life neglect issues.'
In addition, a colorful cameo lineup such as Moon So-ri, Jin Seon-gyu, Kim Dae-myeong, Choi Moo-sung, and Gu In-sang is also drawing attention. Jeong Kyung-ho said "It was especially memorable because actor Kim Dae-myung held the first episode " and Seol In-ah said "There was no acting hole at all."
