In the second episode, which aired on the 1st, Yoon Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum) infiltrated the golden rabbit's den alone and won a pleasant victory by pulling out the gold teeth of the head of the golden rabbit (Kang Gil-woo). Then, a shot that mistook Ko Man-sik (Heo Seong-tae) for an enemy gave him a pleasant happening.
A strong special team was formed thanks to Yoon Dong-ju's brilliant action, but the investigation was handed over to Kwangsu University, and the task entrusted with 'Important Work' was to attend the demonstration of the new equipment. When the police chief called again 'Han-na', angry Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun) threw out her resignation letter and left.
The team in crisis got information that the gunman who broke into Ji Han-na's house was a member of the stowaway and went to the scene. However, there was an unexpected situation in which Ko Man-sik accidentally took a new drug and fell into hallucinations, mistook Yoon Dong-ju for the head of the National Police Agency, and bit his ear and ran away. The scene quickly turned into a chaos.
To make matters worse, when Kim Jong-hyun (Lee Sang-i) was stabbed, Ko Man-sik threw himself in place of him, who was unable to move his body due to past trauma. Instead of an emergency car stuck in traffic, Yoon put Ko Man-sik in a mart cart and ran barefoot. Ko Man-sik, who was moved by the fighting spirit, thanked him with shoes and nutritional supplements, and the strong special team was also filled with warmth.
Meanwhile, the identity of Inseong City's largest villain was revealed on the show. Trying to manipulate the hit-and-run accident, he hid his creepy appearance behind his normal face and calmly threatened Lee Kyung-il (Lee Jung-ha). In the end, Yoon Dong-ju finally found Min Ju-young (Oh Jeong-se) by using a golden watch that he passed at the funeral home.
The ending, in which Min Ju-young, who faced Yoon Dong-ju's eyes with a calm face, and Yoon Dong-ju's Day gaze, who followed the truth with tenacity, raised the tension of 'Good Boy' to the highest point.
