Lee Jae-hoon, who played Choi In-beom, a global investment company employee who pursues only achievements in the human film 'Soju War' (produced by The Lamp). He met with Sports Chosun in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 2nd and explained the appearance process of 'Soju War'.
Lee Je-hoon released the movie for the first time at the premiere on the 29th of last month, and it was released the next day. It was a time when I felt 'Now the movie is released. It's only been four days since its release, but I'm feeling it with my skin while reading the audience's reactions and reviews. I hope more people come to the theater and give more reactions to the movie. In the meantime, I like the process of exchanging opinions with the production team about the edited version when I work on it, and this work has been talked a lot and seen countless times. Seeing it through the theater made me feel rewarded for my hard work. The same goes for other movies, but I'm particularly attached to this movie."
He said "These kinds of movies and dramas are very rare in the country. There were a lot of movies and dramas about financial crime in Hollywood in the United States, and I liked them too. I searched a lot of works, and I was very happy to meet the scenario of this 'Soju War', and I thought I could do such a work. In Korea, there was a very painful and difficult time called the IMF, but it was interesting that the real story was made into a movie. "I was also a generation that experienced the IMF when I was in school. When I was in middle school, my parents were self-employed. I ran a rice restaurant and restaurant, and when I saw my father go to work as a daily worker, not as a business owner, I thought 'The business is not going well'It's a hard situation' I think that's why this story felt real because I had a very first-hand experience. I wanted to talk about the story of these days in a movie, comparing how it has changed from the present moment, he confessed.
'Soju War' is a story about the 1997 IMF financial crisis, in which a soju company is a life-time financial director, and an employee of a global investment company who pursues only profits confronts the fate of the Korean people's soju. Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, Son Hyun-joo, and Choi Young-joon appeared. It was released on the 30th of last month.
