Major TV Programs Canceled Nationwide for 21st Presidential Election Coverage

Major entertainment programs will be canceled one after another due to the broadcasting of the 21st presidential election.

According to the schedule on the 3rd, MBC, KBS1, SBS terrestrial broadcasting and JTBC, Channel A, TV CHOSUN, and MBN broadcast special programs and counting of votes will be held on the same day.

KBS1 will be canceled with 'Animal Kingdom', '6 o'clock Home', 'Catch the great luck', and 'My Neighbor Charles'. KBS2 broadcasts programs normally without cancellation as previously planned. MBC will be canceled by 'N','Kind Seonju Mr.','100 Minutes Debate' and 'PD Notebook'. SBS takes a week off from 'Take off your shoes and dole-for-man'.




JTBC will be canceled with 'Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review', 'Case Team Leader', 'Bob Business on the Street', and Channel A will be canceled with 'Talker'. MBN will have `The King of Thumbs up,' `The Korea-Japan Top Ten Show" while TV CHOSUN will have `Medical Documentary-The Facts' 

Meanwhile, the 21st presidential election will be held from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 14,295 polling stations nationwide. It is expected that the outline of the president-elect will be revealed as early as midnight after the vote counting process begins.
