'Salon de Holmes' Director on Casting Dasom: 'Didn’t Know She Was from SISTAR'

At a production presentation held at Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 16th, director Min said, `I didn't know that Kim Da-som was from SISTAR. Sistar knew, but he was not connected to a character named Kim Dasom" he said.
He continued "It was a fresh mask when I saw it at the audition. He had a natural and unique charm like a pretty person"There is an expectation that he will be able to appear as actor Kim Da-som, not SISTAR Dasom, " he said.
Director Min said "Since I was an entertainment producer, I know that celebrities who used to be idols have had a hard time since childhood. Perhaps that's why I thought Kim Da-som's experience and hard work could lead to deep acting," he said.
In `Salon de Holmes" Kim Da-som plays Park So-hee, the queen of part-time jobs and a single mother who works four to five part-time jobs a day. Director Min said, `Even though I was a part-time king, there was a setting where I had to ride a motorcycle, and even though it could be dangerous, I started practicing the motorcycle first.' `I judged that he would fit well in this role because he is an actor supported by grit and effort," he added.
Meanwhile, `Salon de Holmes' is a comic-womance play in which four women cheerfully solve everyday events against the backdrop of an apartment complex, starring Lee Si-young, Jung Young-joo, Kim Da-som and Nam Ki-ae. The first episode will air at 10 p.m. that day.
