Kim Jung-hyun Makes Special Cameo in JTBC’s ‘Hundred Memories’

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 『100 Memories" (played by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram, directed by Kim Sang-ho) will premiere on Sept. 13 is a new-tro youth melodrama that depicts a loving first love surrounding the 100 bus guide Young-rye and Jong-hee's shining friendship and the fateful man Jae-pil of the two friends in the 1980s. Kim Jung-hyun, who is receiving viewers' expectations just for his special appearance, will play the role of 'Jeong-hyun', capturing the small screen by revealing the attributes of the third generation of chaebol who has lived a callus-free life and unexpected innocence at the same time.
Chung Hyeon was the eldest son of the then leading conglomerate Hwashin Electronics. With a strong background as the third generation of chaebol and a clear brain of entering a prestigious law school in Seoul, he is a so-called "original fraudster" who always has excellent grades while taking his own classes when he wants to play. Although he is misunderstood as a playboy due to his cuteness, he is also an unexpected pure man who does not give his heart easily.
It is Ko Young-rye (Kim Da-mi), the younger brother of his friend, who is sitting in his heart. It is just pitiful and lovely to see Young-rye, a girl whose pure cuteness makes her cheeks turn red when she teases him as an ugly girl, living hard every day as a bus guide to make a living in her family with her dreams deep in her heart. He hopes Yeongrye will one day live the life she truly wants, and he stands by her like a strong 'Mr. Kidari'. Just by looking at the still cut released, the warm smile and eyes toward Yeongrye convey the presence of pure love silently watching from behind. This is the part that raises expectations on how he will permeate Yeongrye's daily life in the future.
The production team introduced "Jeonghyun", played by actor Kim Jung-hyun, as an attractive character who hides an unexpected pureness amid a character with both git and wit", and "It is a special appearance, but its weight and influence in the play are by no means light." It is expected that each scene of his appearance will add depth to the narrative and make a decisive change in the emotional line between the characters. In particular, it is said that the appearance of 'Mr. Kidari', who silently helps by Yeongrye, will double the warmth and excitement of the play.
