'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' Tops Gallup Korea’s Favorite TV Programs in September

Gallup Korea surveyed and announced its favorite TV programs in September on the 23rd. From September 16 to 18, 2025, 1,001 people aged 18 or older across the country were asked about the most popular broadcasting video programs these days (up to two free responses), and tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' topped the list with a preference of 4.6%.
'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' is a fantasy romantic comedy that takes place when Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah), who was scheduled to become a head chef at a three-star Michelin restaurant by winning a French cooking contest, goes back to the past and meets Lee Hun (Lee Chae-min), who is known as the worst tyrant in history and has an absolute taste. Amid the unstable political situation with all kinds of conspiracies, Yeon Ji-young's process of recreating Joseon court cuisine with a modern sense caught the eye.
Director Jang Tae-yu of the historical drama "My Love from the Star" and "Flower Garden of the Wind" (2008), "Deep Rooted Tree" (2011), "Hong Cheon-gi" (2021, SBS) and "Flowers Blooming at Night" (MBC, 7th place in February 2024).
