At the awards ceremony held on the 14th (local time), 'Severance: Disconnected' won trophies in a total of eight categories, including Best Actress (Britt Lower) and Best Supporting Actor (Trumel Tillman). 'Severance: Disconnected', which was nominated for the most single work (27 categories) this year, has established itself as a hot topic in name and reality.
'Severance: Disconnect' is a suspense drama about the dual lives of employees of large corporations under the theme of 'Disconnect Surgery' that cuts off work and privacy. Since season one, it has won five critics association TV awards and two primetime Emmy awards, and has become the first Apple TV+ series to rank 10th overall in Nielsen ratings since season two ended. The New York Times named it the best work of the year and praised it as `the most ambitious TV show with a strange yet emotional depth.'
Based on this achievement, CJ ENM plans to further strengthen the production of global premium contents. The Fifth Season has already released 'Chief of War', 'Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2' and 'Streep Season 2' and in September, the thriller starring Jessica Chastain will be released on Apple TV+.
