On the afternoon of the 24th, a production presentation for MBN's new mini-series 'First Lady" (script by Kim Hyung-wan, director Lee Ho-hyun, production by Studio G-Dam, Artist Studio, and Roadshow Plus) was held at The Link Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Ho-hyun and actors Yoo Jin, Ji Hyun-woo and Lee Min-young attended the meeting to talk about the work.
`First Lady' tells the story of an unprecedented case in which a husband who was elected president seeks divorce from his wife, who will become the first lady. During the 67 days remaining until the inauguration of the president-elect, the president-elect and his wife will speed up the plot and secrets of the family.
Ji Hyun-woo played Hyun Min-chul, a former factory worker who grew up in an orphanage and was finally elected president after serving as a candidate for the National Assembly.
Ji Hyun-woo, who returned to the miniseries, said, `After appearing in a weekend drama, I got to do a miniseries. There were two weekend dramas a week, so I always lacked practice time, but this time, the script came out in advance, so I was able to prepare it" he said.
In the midst of this, Ji Hyun-woo drew attention by confessing that he visited the front of the National Assembly in person to serve as the president-elect. Ji Hyun-woo "There are many speech scenes, so I wondered if I could deliver them without getting bored."In fact, it was very helpful to go to the National Assembly and practice muttering the lines." Ji Hyun-woo also felt a lot of pressure to act with sincerity. Hyun Min-chul's character was more serious because he resembled a character like 'Awl' that stood out in the organization" he said.
'First Lady' will premiere at 10:20 p.m. on the 24th.
