In the fourth episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 『New President Project" (directed by Ban Ki-ri), which aired on the 23rd, Shin (Han Seok-kyu) was angered by the atrocities of Choi Yong-min (Byeong-hun), who tried to harass Lee Si-on (here) and even take the life of Cho Philip (Bae Hyun-sung), and posted a prelude to Marat revenge.
Upon hearing that Yi Si-on was injured on this day, President Shin learned from Jang Tong-woo (Cho Hyun-sik), the owner of the Chinese restaurant Pluto, that there was a customer who harassed her. In response, President Shin used the transfer of delivery know-how as an excuse to move with Jopilip so that Yi Si-on is no longer exposed to danger.
Then, Lee Si-on, who faced verbal abuse and assault from the customer again, escaped the situation with the help of Jo Philip, and confided to Jo Philip, who was worried about it, that the customer was Choi Yong-min, who had been brutally harassing him since high school.
Cho Philip, who was indignant with Lee Si-on's words, visited Choi Yong-min's house for a warning and fell into an unexpected crisis. After being attacked by Choi Yong-min on the stairs and losing consciousness, he was trapped in the trunk of his car and faced a desperate moment when he was crushed to death by a junkyard compressor.
Fortunately, President Shin and Lee Si-on, who sensed suspicious signs from Cho Philip, who had lost contact, rushed to the scene and rescued him, ending the case. Choi Yong-min's cruel act of touching not only Yi Si-on but also Jo Philip surprised not only President Shin but also viewers.
President Shin, who could not stand by Choi Yong-min's behavior of bullying employees, confirmed through data conducted by Kim Soo-dong (Jung Eun-pyo), the official in charge of the Administrative Welfare Center, that Choi Yong-min's father and city councilor, Choi Woong-sik (Park Won-sang), was behind him. He was also angry to learn that the junkyard that killed Cho Philip belonged to Choi Woong-sik's acquaintance, as well as that Choi Woong-sik in the past suppressed Choi Yong-min's school violence.
In response to the father-son's shameless behavior, President Shin visited Representative Choi Woong-sik and talked about the serious damage caused by power abuse as a self-employed person, and naturally listened to the on-site recording file of Choi Yong-min harassing Lee Si-on.
At first, Choi Woong-sik, who pretended to sympathize with President Shin's grievances and looked like a good politician, tried to change his face color and pass it lightly when he realized that it was his son's job. Then, President Shin played an additional audio transcript containing the circumstances of the murder attempt, increasingly tightening Choi Woong-sik.
No more risks will be acceptable to Choi Woong-sik ahead of the fourth election. Choi Woong-sik, with a firm expression on his face, asked President Shin if he knew all about it and threatened him, and President Shin said with a relaxed smile, `Do you want to negotiate? Or do you want to get threatened?" he responded. I wonder what kind of revenge President Shin will give after being awakened by the atrocities of the rich man who bullied his employees.
Meanwhile, at that time, Choi Yong-min committed an additional frenetic act of setting a motorcycle on fire, saying that he would cut off Yi Si-on's means of livelihood. Choi Yong-min's endless rush made him wait even longer for the exhilarating cider that President Shin would provide by pressing the anger button of viewers.
The 4th episode of New President Project, which aired on the same day, averaged 7.4% for households in the metropolitan area, 9.2% for households, 7.7% for households nationwide, and 9.7% for all channels, including terrestrial broadcasting. It also topped cable and general programming channels and all channels in tvN's target 2049 male and female viewership.
