With actor Lee Young-ae returning to KBS drama after 26 years with 'Eun-soo's Good Day', expectations are high on whether she will be able to play a role as a viewer rating relief pitcher'.
KBS2's new Saturday miniseries 'Eun Soo Good Day' press production presentation was held at the St. D-Cube City in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 16th. Director Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, Park Yong-woo and Song Hyun-wook attended the site.
The first broadcast on the 20th is about Kang Eun-soo, a parent who wants to protect her family, and Lee Kyung, a two-faced teacher, with a dangerous partnership log with a drug bag that she accidentally obtained, and director Song Hyun-wook and writer Jeon Young-shin joined forces.
Director Song said, "(It started when I accidentally received four scripts from the CEO of the production company. I finished reading the script in the office on a weekend afternoon, and it was so immersive and fun that I asked if there were more scripts. Then, I read the script to Part 11, and I really wanted to work on it even with a tight schedule."
In particular, KBS, a public broadcaster, drew attention in that it dealt with a sensitive subject called 'drug'. Director Song was cautious because it was a sensitive material. Rather than treating drugs as a crime provokingly, drugs in the 'Eunsu Good Day" were intended to express the alienity of the unfamiliar world felt by ordinary characters.

Attention is also drawn to the three actors' passionate performances. Lee Young-ae returned to the KBS drama 26 years after the "Invitation" with "Eun Soo Good Day". In the play, Lee Young-ae played Kang Eun-soo, who jumps from an ordinary housewife to a taboo world. As for how he joined the work, he said, `First of all, the script was interesting. Lee Young-ae drew attention not only for her in-depth emotional passion, but also for her various actions. Kim Young-kwang is a popular after-school art instructor during the day, but he played Lee Kyung, a drug dealer who hid his identity at night. "Lee Kyung-eun is a character who wants to regain his life while selling silver and drugs," he said. "It was so good to work with Lee Young-ae." When I first received the script, I thought 'How dare I?' because my senior was participating. I chose the work with high expectations just because I could act with Lee Young-ae. Also, your senior's voice is so good, so everything can be explained by just one voice. I was so comfortable listening to it while acting" expressed satisfaction.
Lee Young-ae also said of Kim Young-kwang "As an actor, he has a variety of colors. He has various emotions and expressions. It was good that you laid the foundation for me to show more acting than the script"I thanked him.

Park Yong-woo plays Jang Tae-gu, the head of the drug department team who relentlessly tracks the drug trafficking organization Phantom. He introduced his character as `a violent detective team leader in charge of drug cases' and"a character that persistently tracks Eun-soo and Lee Kyung-hee to the end.'
Then, when I first encounter the work I learn, I have no choice but to look at the script. After reading the script, I think about 'Whether to do this or not', but 'Eunsu Good Day' was a work I wanted to participate in as soon as I saw the script. It's my personal preference, but I thought, "Why did I feel that way?" In fact, it's very difficult to describe the ordinary and obvious subject matter in a special way, but the script of "'Eun-su's Good Day' was like that.' "If I tell you more about it now, it's not fun, so I hope you watch it on TV."," he said, asking for expectations.

Finally, director Song said of the target audience rating "I think KBS Drama Center director came to the production presentation today, and I hope there will be enough viewers to go on a reward vacation." I hope the ratings will rise little by little every day, so it will be about 12-15%. If we were faithful to the script and took a good picture, we believe it is enough ratings to come out."
Meanwhile, 'Eunsu Good Day' will premiere on KBS2 at 9:20 p.m. on the 20th.
