Lim Yoon-ah ♥ Lee Chae-min, the 'Chef of the Tyrant', and even the secret of the mangunrok...Expectations for romance in the second half are up

tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 『The Tyrant's Chef" (directed by Jang Tae-yu, script fGRD, produced by Film Grida and Jung Universe) turns the halfway point and enters the second half, heating the small screen with deeper romance and fierce power struggle.

The romance between Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah) and Wang Lee Hun (Lee Chae-min) has drawn attention from the beginning of the play. Yeon Ji-young, who became Colonel Suragan's master after a time slip, is sharing not only cooking but also her heart with Lee Heon. Lee Heon approached without hesitation, vowing to do anything for Yeon Ji-young, and Yeon Ji-young is also opening up little by little with his warm heart. On top of that, the fateful relationship between the two is further tense as it is revealed that the identity of 'Mangunrok' that brought Yeon Ji-young into the past is Lee Heon's diary.

Another point to watch is the culinary competition between the two countries. Hwan-gwan Woo-gon (Kim Hyung-mook) joined hands with Jesandaegun (Choi Gui-hwa) to propose a competition, forcing excessive tributes, and Lee Heon counterattacked Yeon Ji-young and Suragan Su-su. Yeon Ji-young is eager to win in response to the provocation of the Ming master, Abisu (Moon Seung-yu), raising questions about what unusual cuisine she will fight back with.

The court power fight is also expected to heat up the second half. The concubine Kang Mok-ju (Kang Han-na) is using Lee Heon's wounds to induce a runaway and is looking at the opportunity to remove Yeon Ji-young, while Jesan Daegun is sharpening his sword dreaming of rebelling. King Inju Daebi (Seo Yi-sook) struggles to hide the secret surrounding the death of the abandoned monument, while Im Song-jae (Oh Si-sik) uses Yeon Ji-young as a stepping stone to push out Kang Mok-ju and win power. Viewers are paying attention to how the tangled war of nerves will end.

The seventh episode of the `Chef of the Tyrants' will air at 9:10 p.m. on the 13th.
