Gong Hyo-jin said in an open talk on the 19th at the BIFF outdoor stage of the Dong-dong Film Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan, `I wanted to show Jungwoo Ha a much more advanced acting than 'Love Fiction'.'
'People Upstairs' is an official invitation to the Today-Special Premiere section of the 30th Busan Film Festival Korean Film Festival. The film depicts an unpredictable story that occurs every night when the upper couple (Ha Jung-woo and Lee Ha-nee) and the lower couple (Kong Hyo-jin and Kim Dong-wook) have a night's dinner together due to the noise between floors, and the Jungwoo Ha directed the fourth time after 'Roller Coaster', 'Heosamgwan', and 'Robby'.
Gong Hyo-jin, who played Jung-ah, his wife downstairs, reunited with Jungwoo Ha after 13 years since the movie 'Love Fiction'. Gong Hyo-jin said, `This movie contains your brother's wit and humor. I think the audience can look forward to it. During "Love Fiction", I and my brother were very young"I met him as an actor and director after a long time, and I wanted to show a much better acting than then. But I wanted to keep it for a long time because my brother praised me saying, `It was a great acting.'
Meanwhile, the 30th Busan International Film Festival will be held for 10 days from the 17th to the 26th around the Film Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan. 'People Upstairs' will be released in December.
