Seungkwan said at the production presentation of the new entertainment program 「'New Director Kim Yeon-kyung' held at the MBC headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 24th, `Why Seventeen wipes their sweat with a towel, but here is Wonder Dogs manager Boo Seung-kwan.'
Rookie manager Kim Yeon-koung is a project to create a club for volleyball legend Kim Yeon-koung, who returned as a new coach. Kim Yeon-kyung, the world's No. 1 and the only god of volleyball, is drawing great attention as she returns as a coach for the 0th year 'new'.
Kim Yeon-koung will directly create a team called the Pilseung Wonder Dogs and oversee training, game management, and player mental management. His growth from veteran player to manager is a key point of this program.
It is also of interest that it will provide a stage for those who have become underdogs for their own reasons, such as released players, players who have yet to become professionals, and players who dream of returning after retirement. 'Pilseung Wonder Dogs' is not just a team in entertainment, such as Pyo Seung-joo, Lee Jin, Kim Na-hee, Lee Na-yeon, Inkushi, Gusol, and Yoon Young-in, but a real volleyball team made up of 14 underdogs with various stories.
On top of that, SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan will be the team manager who will lead the team with head coach Kim Yeon-kyung, while caster Lee Ho-geun and commentator Lee Sook-ja will be the broadcasting team. Above all, Seung-kwan, who is usually known as a volleyball fan, will play a role as an energy charging station for his friendly chemistry with the players and 'Pilseung Wonder Dogs'.
Seungkwan says "MBTI is the end of N. I've lived imagining it just for this day. I was happy to be able to broadcast with Yeon-kyung, Seung-joo, and many volleyball players. It is an honor to be able to support the players even a little bit as a manager. They're like celebrities to me. It's too much??I was so happy"
He is also known as a fan of the team since the launch of professional volleyball in 2005. Coincidentally, even when the coach played in the last season, he was a fan of the opposing team. So Yeon-kyung felt like a sinner"He confessed.
It is also an opportunity to show that I am not a fan of a team, but a fan of volleyball. Do I have to show you how much I love volleyball?募募? I had a big heart. I tried to get points from director Yeon-kyung. I feel like you're grumbling, but I felt you care about it,' the manager said in the fan.
As for the manager's role, "Literally, the manager belongs to the volleyball team and supports the players when training or playing games. It cleanses the sweat of the player in charge at every operation time and controls the mind. I'm trying to help as much as possible so that I don't get in the way."
In the meantime, "I came to love volleyball more while doing volleyball entertainment shows. I'm not a veteran senior, but I hope at least one player will be exposed if I make a single comment. I tried to talk to myself while watching the play. I took off all of SEVENTEEN, and it was the most loved sport in my life, so I loved it while doing this program. You may wonder why SEVENTEEN members are wiping their sweat with a towel, but as soon as I started this program, I was Wonder Dogs manager Boo Seungkwan.
MBC's new entertainment program 'New Director Kim Yeon-kyung' will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on the 28th (Sun).
