‘A Hundred Memories’ Ranks in Top 10 Across Five Asian Countries

"100 Memories" was popular overseas as well.

According to the weekly chart of the third week of October (Oct. 13 to Oct. 19) released by Asia's largest OTT platform Viu on the 28th, JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 『A Hundred Memories』 ranked 3rd in Indonesia, 5th in Thailand and Malaysia, 8th in the Philippines, and 10th in Singapore. It proved its local popularity by reaching the top 10 in five Asian countries.

"100 Memories" is a youth melodrama surrounding the brilliant friendship between Young-rye (Kim Da-mi) and Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun) and Jae-pil (Heo Nam-jun), a fateful man, in the 1980s, and was praised for modernizing retro sensibilities with Korean emotions. In Korea, the final episode ended with an audience rating of 8.1 percent (Nilson Korea, based on paid households) and ended in a hot topic.

Shin Ye-eun was also listed at the top of the Viu chart with her previous work 'Flower Sun-bi's romantic history' (2023), and this work further solidified the local fan base. Kim Dami and Heo Nam-joon are also receiving enthusiastic responses, and it is expected that the ranking will continue to rise steadily even after the release of the previous round.

Meanwhile, Viu (View) is Asia's largest cross-regional OTT platform operated by Hong Kong PCCW, introducing popular Korean content in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently, 'New President Project', 'Let's Go to the Moon', 'Transfer Love 4' and others are on service, and expected works such as 'Model Taxi3' and 'The Moon flows on the River' are also expected to be introduced soon.
