Ji Chang-wook's new face from 'Scarving City' is found again.
The Disney+ series 'Scarving City' unveiled a still from Ji Chang-wook's character that will show his colorful face as Park Tae-joong. 'A Sculpture Poetry' is an action drama in which Taejung (Ji Chang-wook), who lived a normal life, is caught up in an unjustly heinous crime one day and goes to prison, and he learns that everything was planned by Johan (Do Kyung-soo) and carries out revenge against him.
Actor Ji Chang-wook, who has perfectly digested various characters across genres from dramas 'How to Love City Men and Women'Welcome to Samdali' to Disney+'s original series 'Worst Evil' and 'Gangnam B-Side', returns with 'Pieces City'. Ji Chang-wook, who plays Park Tae-joong, a man whose life was carved, will break his life character once again by realistically portraying the various and three-dimensional emotions of a character who was falsely accused and entered prison.
Taejung, a healthy and ordinary young man who does not spend a day in vain, is caught up in a brutal crime and goes to prison one day. When he loses everything in his life and barely survives, he realizes that someone has designed him as the culprit and pledges revenge. The released still catches the eye by contrasting the peaceful appearance of Taejung, who lived faithfully every day for his dream of setting up a garden cafe in the city center, and the desperate collapse after being imprisoned. After learning that the terrible misfortune suddenly struck him was someone's plan, his angry expression and sharp look around heighten curiosity about whether his revenge will succeed.
Ji Chang-wook said "Taejung is a person who runs really hard while looking at only revenge. From a big perspective, I approached it thinking it was going over a certain stage. How to become strong and how to become strong is shown sequentially", he said, raising expectations for his in-depth performance to portray the various faces of the characters who are changing in the process of executing revenge. Director Park Shin-woo said, `The actor Ji Chang-wook breathed in by increasing the level of passion and energy of realistic characters. Later, I wonder if the day will come when Ji Chang-wook is called a genre soon." He praised Ji Chang-wook, raising questions about what the more lively Taejung character would look like.
The fierce confrontation between Ji Chang-wook, who runs hot for revenge, and Do Kyung-soo, who shows his new face with his first villainous performance, synergy of fresh actors such as Kim Jong-soo, Cho Yoon-soo and Lee Kwang-soo, and Disney+'s original series 『Pieces Doshi』, which is expected to be completed with the strong writing skills of the series Oh Sang-ho, will release only four episodes on Disney+ on Nov. 5, followed by two episodes every week, with a total of 12 episodes.
