‘The Dream Life of Mr. Kim’ Nears Finale With Acclaimed Music Direction by Jung Jae-Hyung



Music director Jung Jae-hyung has established himself as the key to leading the emotional line of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'The Story of Manager Kim Working at a Large Company in Seoul'. Jeong Jae-hyung's music is said to have contributed significantly to the criticism that the work ahead of the end achieved a square balance of 'directing-acting-story-music'.

The background music that accurately points out the character's emotions and situations in each episode of "Manager Kim's Story" created a high level of immersion. Music director Jeong Jae-hyung, who worked with director Cho Hyun-tak for the second time, explained, `We set the direction of music by discussing the emotions of Kim Nak-soo (Ryu Seung-ryong), the director's intention, and the viewers' minds watching it for a long time.'

He chose a musical design that centered 'people' over events. "I used the orchestra a lot because I wanted to capture the emotional lines of the characters in the BG in abundance."As " says, the music that captures the characters with great emotional changes in the play drove the entire atmosphere of the work.




In particular, regarding the Kim Nak-su theme, "It is a character that cannot be fixed in one form, so one theme has been solved in several variations." The OST lineup also improved the completeness of the work. In particular, his first OST work with his best friend Lee Jeok was a big moment for him.
