On the 28th, the production team of Genie TV's original drama 'Idol Eye' unveiled a still of Dora-ik's extreme charms played by Kim Jae-young. The work is a mystery court romance that unfolds when the star lawyer Soohyana (Choi Soo-young) takes on the case of Doraik who became a murder suspect. The relationship between a lawyer who has to prove the innocence of his favorite idol and an idol who has to hide his feelings to reveal the truth stimulates interest.
In the released photo, Doraik is the center of the idol band 'Gold Boyz', which is overwhelmingly popular on stage. The way he smiles at his fans shows his professional composure. However, Doraick's expression after coming down the stage is the opposite. In the sharp eyes and the darkened atmosphere, hidden wounds and shades are revealed under colorful lighting.
Unusual daily life soon leads to shocking events. Doraik was identified as a suspect in the murder of a member of the same team. The still from the interrogation room contains tears mixed with fear, anger, and resentment, raising questions about how the top star came to be at the center of the case. Attention is focusing on whether he will be able to prove his innocence with his oath and what the truth of the case is.
"It was new because mystery, court, and romance were exquisitely mixed," Kim Jae-young said. "Doraiik was more attracted because he had three-dimensional and complex emotional lines." Then "It looks fancy, but it's a lonely person inside. Sometimes it looks immature, but there is a soft heart and warmth in it. The more you know, the more authentic characters you are."
As he appeared as an idol band vocalist, the musical preparation was not easy. Kim Jae-young "I practiced singing and musical instruments a lot. I thought about the visual, styling, and manners of the stage," he said in the background.
'Idol I' will be released on KT Genie TV at 10 p.m. on December 22nd and will premiere on ENA.
