On the morning of the 26th, the SBS Hall on the 13th floor of SBS in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, held a production presentation for SBS's new 'Fiery Basketball Team'. Seo Jang-hoon, Min-ho, Park Eun-seok, Son Tae-jin, Park Chan-woong, Oh Seung-hoon, Jung Jin-woon, Moon Soo-in, Lee Dae-hee, Jung Kyu-min, Johnny, Kim Taek, and Seo Hyun-seok attended the meeting to talk about the program.
SBS 'Enthusiastic Basketball Team' will describe the journey of Seo Jang-hoon and Charismatic Guard'Windol' Jeon Tae-pung, who returned as national treasure coach'National Treasure Center', to conquer Asia by forming the strongest basketball team in the entertainment industry 'Rising Eagles'.
Key members of the `Rising Eagles' include Choi Min-ho, Jeong Jin-woon and his older brother line Park Eun-seok, Son Tae-jin, and NCT Johnny, who earned the nickname 'Official Effort King'. In addition, Park Chan-woong, Oh Seung-hoon, Moon Soo-in and Kim Taek, who were recognized for their high-quality basketball skills, influencer Jung Kyu-min who boasts accurate shooting, and Lee Dae-hee, a former model, joined to complete the strongest lineup.
It is rumored that they were directly coached by special coaches and players such as Lee Sang-min and Yang Dong-geun and filmed with the mindset of basketball players, not celebrities.
The first gateway they face is the Philippines, the country with the oldest professional basketball history after the NBA. With the first national competition scheduled to be held at the Philippines' largest stadium filled with 15,000 spectators, it is also worth looking forward to the journey of preparing for the national competition by holding a warm-up match with the nation's strongest club teams in front of 1,000 spectators to maximize their sense of action.
Producer Seo Hyun-seok "I've been broadcasting with director Seo Jang-hoon for a long time. I thought basketball was the only thing that could explode the character of Seo Jang-hoon, a broadcaster, and I contacted you more than a year ago, and I'm happy to be with you at the production presentation. I'm proud to make a program that's so heartwarming."
Referring to the past 'Handsome Tigers', Seo Jang-hoon once served as a director in the program five years ago. At that time, producer Seo Hyun-seok said let's do it together at a time when there were many regrets, and I thought that it would help develop basketball a little more and make the dreams of the players here come true once again. Coincidentally, it was about a year ago that we first talked about it, and I'm also worried that we're doing this broadcast at a time when a lot of sports entertainment comes out recently."
Meanwhile, SBS 'Hot Basketball Team' will premiere at 5 p.m. on the 29th.
