CJ ENM will create the rap version of IZ*ONE. .

At the CJ ENM Music Media Lounge 'Mext: Worlds of Mnet Sins 2025' held in Cheongdam, Seoul on the 15th, CJ ENM's music content division head Shin Hyung-kwan said, "Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess' will create the rap version of IZ*ONE with 'Next: Worlds of Mnet Sins 2025'."

Starting with Mnet, a music channel that means 'Music Network' in 1995, it has introduced original programs based on the novelty of illuminating various music genres and breaking prejudice for 30 years until 2025. CJ ENM celebrates its 30th anniversary this year on Mnet and is expected to make a full-fledged leap into a global music IP powerhouse in 2025.




On this day, CJ ENM held a media lounge to explain the future of CJ ENM's music business, which will expand globally, including Mnet's Next Chapter, which will further evolve under the slogan of 'K-pop Generation Mnet', as well as music labels and K-pop platform Mnet Plus.

Shin Hyung-kwan, head of CJ ENM's music content business division, said, "In terms of global production studios, we plan to expand the production of large-scale projects that can collaborate with global artists beyond K-pop."

Director Shin plans to present 'World of Street Woman Fighter' as a national competition;'Boyz Planet2' to debut simultaneously in K and C versions;'K-Pop World (tentative)' with Apple TV+; and'Band Project (tentative)' to expand globally. It will air a joint Korean-Japanese hip-hop project called `Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-Pop Princess' in the second half of the year, which will be created by the crew of `Unpretty Rapstar' and the crew of `Street Woman Fighter.'




In particular, Shin will give birth to a rap version of IZ*ONE \'Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-Pop Princess'. The genre of hip-hop in Japan has not yet had as much potential as Korea, but we are preparing ambitiously this year."
