Close Your Eyes held its first mini-album 'Eternality' showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 2nd. "It was unfamiliar because the debut song was 'Literature Boy' concept, but I prepared it while reading the book."
Close Your Eyes is a group formed through the JTBC audition program Project 7. The team name includes not only performances but also the meaning of giving persuasive music when listening with eyes closed, and the meaning of continuing to strengthen as an idol that everyone imagines whenever they close their eyes.
The title song 'All poems and novels in me' is a 2000s retro R&B style song with lyrical lyrics that express the feelings of the inspirational partner. You can enjoy the strange contrast created by the track with a mature atmosphere and the lyrics of "Close Your Eyes," a literary boy who writes love poorly.
In particular, member Jeon Min-wook participated in the rap making, adding authenticity to the song.Jeon Min-wook said, "It was an honor to participate in the title song of my debut album. The song itself is lyrical and the existing lyrics are literary expressions, so I tried to make that point. It was not enough, but fortunately, the producers who worked with me praised it. He expressed satisfaction.
As it is a song with a slow tempo, curiosity grows in the point performance. Jang Yeo-jun focused on storytelling rather than sword dance. It contains our own emotions. There's a dance in the chorus that bites the clothes. This is the key point."
He also pointed to a special concept of 'literature boy'. Jeon Min-wook said "I felt unfamiliar when I first got the demo, but as I kept listening to the song and looking back on the lyrics, I could pull it off well. Personally, while reading the book, I thought, 'These expressions are really good. There are expressions like this.'," he said with a smile.
Close Your Eyes' debut album Eternality will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 2nd.
