S.Coups X Mingyu, the new special unit of SEVENTEEN, invites everyone to a hyped moment.

S.Coups X Mingyu's first mini album 'HYPE VIBES' is an album that expresses a hot and free atmosphere that anyone can enjoy and connect with. The album name, which is similar to the pronunciation of 'High Five', shows S.Coups X Min-gyu's willingness to connect widely with various people.

The two drew colorful moments of daily life with music so that listeners could choose and appreciate their own 'now'. At the same time, it features a wide musical spectrum with a variety of genres such as hip-hop, easy listening pop, rock, and EDM. It is a new attempt by those who have mainly performed intense music as members of SEVENTEEN's hip-hop team. The two participated in writing and composing all six songs in the new report and filled their tastes and emotions.

The title song '5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)' is a song that expresses feelings of love toward an intensely attracted person with honest lyrics. American singer-songwriter Roy Orbison's hit song 'Oh, Pretty Woman' is interpolated (a technique that utilizes certain elements such as melodies and lyrics of existing music) and disco sound create a cheerful atmosphere. On top of that, American Gen Z hip-hop artist Ray Bankz participated in the feature, enhancing the completeness.

The performance is also highly anticipated. In the recently released title song challenge video, the two showed their free-spirited charm by stepping on the steps and grooving in a rhythmic way. The number of views has already exceeded 180 million, and thousands of videos of them dancing to their choreography have poured out, making the challenge craze anticipated.

S.Coups X Mingyu has established himself as an "iconic duo" by working in various fields such as stage, entertainment, and pictorials. Ahead of the release of the new report, they decorated the cover of the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the global fashion magazine `HYPEBEAST" as well as various entertainment shows, including 'Salon Drip 2'. On the 2nd of next month, he will appear on Mnet 'M Countdown' and perform a new song for the first time.




Group activities will also continue. SEVENTEEN, which includes S.Coups X Mingyu, will hold 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR IN HONG KONG' at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong's largest concert hall, today (28th). In October, nine performances will be held in five North American cities, followed by a tour at Japan's four major domes from November to December.
