According to Taiwanese media on the 24th (local time), Wang So-so will ring a wedding march with his wife Mandy (Ma Xiaomei) in May.
On May 27 last year, Wang So-so said he and Mandy were issued a marriage certificate and completed remarriage.
In February, rumors circulated that the wedding could be postponed due to the sudden grief of his ex-wife, Seo Hee-won, but Wang So-so is expected to proceed with the wedding as originally planned.
Wang So-so's second wedding will take place at a hotel in Beijing. Wang's two children are also likely to attend. This is because Wang So-bi, not Seo Hee-won's husband Koo Joon-yeop, has custody of the child.
Currently, Wang So-bi and her new wife Mandy are reportedly working more on health care to prepare for pregnancy than on weddings.
Meanwhile, Seo Hee-won died of acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan on Feb. 2. Earlier, Seo Hee-won married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi in 2011 and had one son and one daughter, but divorced in 2021. Since then, he has reunited with his past lover Koo Jun-yeop and married him in 2022. The two met again for the first time in 20 years and shared the news of their marriage, drawing great attention.
Koo Joon-yeop laid his wife's ashes in Geumbosan Mountain 42 days after Seo Hee-won's death. I also intend to design a commemorative statue myself as the last gift for my wife.
