The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 25th that actor Lim Si-wan donated 30 million won to neighbors affected by wildfires in Ulsan and Gyeongsang.
"I added a little heart because I thought the pain of those who lost their homes due to the sudden forest fire would be great," Lim Si-wan said. "I hope it will be a little comforting in difficult times."
Starting with the 2019 Gangwon bushfire, Lim Si-wan has continued to donate every year in disasters. The cumulative donation of Hope Bridge amounts to 200 million won, and it has consistently participated in projects for the vulnerable to disasters, such as continuous care for disaster victims and support for heating costs for the elderly living alone.
Secretary-General of Hope Bridge Shin Hoon said, `The warm sharing of Hope Bridge will provide practical comfort and hope to the residents who suffered great damage from the forest fire.' `Hope Bridge will do its best to restore the daily lives of the affected residents by reflecting the will of the Hope Bridge" he said.
Hope Bridge is providing emergency relief supplies to forest fire victims in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and is operating relief vehicles such as laundry relief vehicles and psychological recovery buses at temporary shelters at the site. We are also considering additional support if necessary in consultation with local governments
