10th term of 'Nasol' Jeong-suk is sentenced to six months in prison for assault...'It's unfair' claims

The prosecution has demanded a prison sentence, with Choi, known as the 10th-generation "I'm SOLO" cast member Jung-sook (pseudonym) handed over to trial on charges of assault.

According to the legal community on the 12th, Judge Park Kyung-mo of the Daegu District Court's Criminal Chamber 2 held a hearing on Choi, who was indicted on charges of assault, property damage and insult.

Choi appeared on the 10th ENA·SBS Plus Real Love Program 'I'm SOLO' and made his face known under the name of 'Quiet'. At that time, it was noted as a man of 5 billion won, and after the broadcast, it attracted attention by revealing that its assets had risen to around 20 billion won due to the success of the investment.

However, in December last year, the fact that Choi was sent to the prosecution on charges of assault and other charges became controversial as it was reported through JTBC 'Case Team Leader'.

The incident occurred on October 3 last year. When the man who caught the taxi first asked for his understanding, saying, `I caught him first,' Choi is accused of hitting him in the face six times and dropping his mobile phone to damage him. It also included charges that he insulted the victim in front of passers-by.

The victim was informed of the agreement from Choi's side, but Choi actually said, "A fine of 1 million won is the end."" claimed to have shown a manner of expression. Then again "I'm sorry. He changed his position, saying, `I drank a lot,' but when the victim insisted on refraining from broadcasting as a condition for an agreement, the conflict increased by refuting, `The advertisement was also canceled and I lost 80 million won.'

Choi insisted that the trial was postponed because he did not attend the first trial scheduled in May, and at this trial, he said, `I admit the crime, but the victim made sexual remarks first.' To the court asking whether the agreement was reached, "Money is not important, but the condition of stopping the broadcast was unacceptable."," he replied.

The prosecution demanded a six-month prison term for Choi, and in his final statement, he "This has not happened so far. I'm sorry, but there's also something unfair.", he said, appealing for leniency.

The sentencing hearing for Choi will be held at 2 p.m. on the 24th.

Meanwhile, Choi is also being investigated by the police on charges of fraud separately. In February, he auctioned a luxury necklace at his birthday party and charity event, and the necklace was found to be fake and has been sued. Part of the case has been sent to the prosecution, and another complaint is still under police investigation. In response, Choi pleaded not guilty, saying, `I never cheated.' However, 'the head of the case' confirmed that the case is still under investigation" he said.
