Court Seizes Kim Se-eui’s Properties Amid Legal Dispute with Kim Soo-hyun’s Agency

According to a Money Today report on the 11th, the Seoul Central District Court on the 9th cited an application for seizure of 120.27 square meters for apartments in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and 208.65 square meters for apartments in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The apartment in Gangnam-gu is under the joint name of CEO Kim and his sister (50% of the stake), so seizure was set only for the stake owned by CEO Kim. The combined market price of the two apartments amounts to 11.3 billion won, and the amount charged is 2 billion won each, a total of 4 billion won
Roh Jong-eon, a representative lawyer at Law Firm, said, "The court judged that the reason for the damages claimed by the gold medalists and the numerical basis for the amount of the seizure claims made some sense. The other party's defense has not been considered as the decision of seizure was judged only based on one party's written argument." The amount will vary depending on Kim's protest," he said.
The media also reported that it would be difficult to get the full amount of the claim even if the creditor enforced it because there is a lot of money borrowed as collateral for apartments.
Meanwhile 'Ga Se-yeon' and Kim Soo-hyun have been engaged in a legal battle over the death of the late actor Kim Sae-ron. "'Ga Se-yeon' also released a claim that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron, who was a minor, in 2015, and Kim Soo-hyun refuted that he dated from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020 after Kim Sae-ron became an adult. In addition, Kim Soo-hyun filed civil and criminal lawsuits against the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron, including a claim for 12 billion won in damages, and filed additional complaints and accusations for violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act and defamation.
