Songpa Police Station in Seoul said on the 23rd that it is investigating a man in his 30s for driving away with a car while drinking alcohol.
A was tracked down by the police who were dispatched after receiving a report of suspected drunk driving around 3:40 a.m. on the 21st. He reportedly stopped his vehicle on a road in Songpa-gu and fled about 300 meters on foot. The police immediately chased and arrested A, and demanded a sobriety test several times at the scene, but A finally refused to comply and was arrested as a current offender.
A police official repeatedly failed to respond to the request for measurement to confirm whether Mr. A was drunk driving""We are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident" he explained.
