Yoon Jin-seo once again proved her acting prowess by winning the Best Actress Award for the film 'Double, One Again' at the 11th Seoul International WebFEST Awards held on the 3rd. Seoul International WebFest is a world-class web series film festival celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, and it is attracting the attention of creators around the world as it aims to become a hub for digital cultural contents to enter the world.
The movie "Two, One Again" (directed by Choi Jong-gu) is a melodrama genre about two disabled people trying to escape from a gang seeking affectionate love and a large inheritance between two men and women with extreme incompatibility of the spinal cord and the blind. The film attracted attention as the only Korean feature film to enter the competition section of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival in 2024, and was recognized for its cinematic quality by winning best picture, best actress, and critic awards at more than 10 film festivals around the world.
Yoon Jin-seo played the role of blind massager 'Kanghee' in the play, delicately expressing the strong will and deep emotions of the character who confronts danger to protect his loved ones. Through this award, he showed a stronger presence as an actor who vividly conveys the character's inner pain and realistic emotions.
