Actor Kim Seok-hoon revealed that the late actor Kang Soo-yeon is his sixth cousin.

Looking at the family relationship in his profile, Kim Seok-hoon said "My sixth cousin is Kang Soo-yeon." Then "He passed away a while ago, and I can't help but talk about this person. When I was very young, Kang Soo-yeon was a star. He also gave me the stamps he had collected as a gift. But after elementary school, they naturally moved away and lost contact for a while."
