BigHit Refutes Speculation Over BTS 2026 World Tour ‘Not Confirmed Yet’

The world's attention is focused on the comeback of the group BTS.

Bloomberg News, a U.S. economic magazine, reported on the 26th (local time) that `BTS will host a total of 65 world tours next year, of which more than 30 will be held in North America.'

The 65th performance is the largest tour in BTS history. The existing largest world tour was 'Love Yourself', attracting 2.05 million people.

Regarding the report, Big Hit Music, a BTS agency, declined to say that the itinerary and size of the tour have not been confirmed.

However, expectations are high for the World Class BTS's comeback. That said, BTS has toured 12 times in four cities from 2021 to 2022. At that time, their tour revenue amounted to about $18 million (about 25.8 billion won).

According to the American performance magazine Polestar, BTS earned about $300 million (about 430.4 billion won) from performances from 2015 to 2022. However, as the number of actual BTS performances is much higher than what Polestar has identified, it is estimated that the actual performance revenue will also be much higher.

It is natural that such a BTS will be on a full seven-member tour for the first time in more than four years since his performance in Las Vegas in April 2022.

LS Securities offered a target stock price of 380,000 won and an investment opinion to Hive. Researcher Park Sung-ho said, `As BTS's comeback is scheduled, the rebound in earnings is expected to be the strongest in the entertainment industry. The number of world tour performances in BTS is expected to exceed 60 and the number of visitors is expected to exceed 3.08 million. In the case of the performance business, annual sales next year are expected to jump 62.6% from this year to KRW 1.2728 trillion.

BTS is preparing to release a new album around March next year.
