On the 18th, Taiwan's CTWANT revealed Koo Jun-yeop's appearance at a celebration party for Seo Hee-je's family.
Seo Hee-je, Seo Hee-won's younger brother, won the Variety Show Host Award with 'Miss Not Shy City' at the 60th Golden Bell Awards on the 17th. On the 18th, the day after the ceremony, Seo Hee-je held a private celebration party with her family at a popular sukiyaki restaurant in Daan-gu, Taipei. Koo Joon-yeop also attended the event, drawing attention.
Koo appeared in a brown short-sleeved T-shirt, covering his face with a hat and mask. He put his arms around his mother-in-law Hwang Chun-mae's shoulders and looked warm and friendly. However, Koo Jun-yeop added regret because he looked so thin that it was difficult to remind him of his muscular body in the past. Since the death of his wife Seo Hee-won in February, Koo Joon-yeop has reportedly been sad enough to lose more than 14kg of food and drink, and has visited Geumbosan Mountain, where Seo Hee-won's ashes are laid, every day to bring time for mourning.
Koo Joon-yeop and Seo Hee-won broke up in 1998 after dating for about a year. Since then, Seo Hee-won married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi in 2011 and had one son and one daughter, but divorced in 2021. Upon hearing the news, Koo Joon-yeop contacted Seo Hee-won's old number, and the two dramatically reunited and married in 2022. However, Seo Hee-won died of acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan in February.
