Pyo Ye-rim of 'Real Edition The Glory' found dead..a sad second anniversary



It has been two years since the late YouTuber Pyo Ye-rim, who was called the "real version of The Glory" by informing the world of the damage of school violence, passed away.

Ko Pyo Ye-rim was found dead on October 10, 2023, near Seongjigok Water Site in Choeup-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan. He was 27.

Since January 2023, the deceased has been disclosing the school violence he suffered 12 years ago through YouTube and broadcasting. In particular, it is known as the main character of the real-life version of 'The Glory' coinciding with the time when the Netflix drama 'The Glory' was aired.




After the school bombing, Ko Pyo Ye-rim had to live a long time without a proper apology or healing, and has complained of pain from secondary abuse, corruption, and malicious comments online. In April of that year, he filed a national petition, saying, `Please abolish the statute of limitations and the provisions of defamation in fact that apply in favor of the perpetrators of the school violence.'

However, online, there was a series of indiscriminate secondary abuse and personal information disclosure. In addition, the conflict with YouTuber Park Han-ul and others led to a legal battle, and the deceased complained of extreme mental pain on YouTube during his lifetime, saying, `Now I am not confident of enduring and overcoming the pain anymore.'

Park Han-ul was booked on charges of stalking, intimidation, and defamation, but the police decided not to send him due to insufficient evidence.
